Nina NOW CHOLE
6 MONTH FOLLOW UP
“Thanks for your email! 6 months and it feels like she is with us our whole life. Her name now is Chloe. She has a one-year-old brother “gray cat” that we adopted not too long ago, and she has a puppy brother as well. They are best friends since he was 2 months old. Chloe is the perfect match for our family, she is very sweet, and she loves staying around us or playing with the other pets. She is great, she is healthy and very, very loved. Thank you.” -Evellyn
JENO & JENNY (Lou)
“We can’t describe how much these baby kitties have impacted our lives. They are so sweet, very curious, and so very playful. Jenny Lou loves her play mice and Jeno loves his rainbow and both love any box or bag that they can squeeze into. They also like our dog and surprisingly he has really taken to both of them. We absolutely love them both and are so happy that they put up with us. I’m happy to report both are happy and healthy.
Sincerely, April, Carlos and Milli”
“She is doing well and getting big.”
“Scout is doing very well. He's a fun and entertaining boy and is getting more relaxed around our dogs. Unfortunately, he doesn't like our other cat. Mostly, they avoid each other. Scout loves to stare at videos on my phone and attack the birds, squirrels or people appearing on it. He also loves to steal everyone's food - including the dogs.
After 30 years of having cats, he's the first to show any interest in our fish tanks. I am sure to keep the lids down! Scout loves to follow me around, and sometimes sleeps next to me. He's a strong, solid cat with a tiny little meow. So cute!
Thanks for checking in. Please say hi to Heather for me. And keep up the great work with the kitties!” - Wendy Hall
PUFF (NOW SCOUT)
(NOW SKEETER III)
“Natalie, Nice to hear from you. Skeeter III has developed some communal traits. Anywhere we sit, living room, office, or bedroom – he is right there with us. If we are napping or sleeping – he is right there with us. Every night we go to bed together. 6:30 in the morning he sits next to my wife Libby and with the loudest purr waits for her to wake up to feed him. Sometimes a nose kiss is in order. He loves to play and run around the house from one end to the other. Needless to say, he appears to be a very happy cat. Stay safe” - Jack
“Áine (Pronounced Anya) is doing well.
She loves running from feet, playing hide and go seek by pretending to be startled by me repeatedly every morning, and playing coy when new people come over.
She is playful and loves chasing a laser and finding her ball with a bell at 3am!
But, continues to be a true rescued feral in that we have yet to pick her up and lap sitting is always on her terms.
We are thankful for John and her foster siblings and for the whole team who helped get her to where she is today. A lot of hard work went into every step of teaching her to be a relaxed comfortable cat.” – Jen
ARPHODITE & ARTEMIS
“They are doing great, they are jumping everywhere and sneaking in every drawer and closet they can find open. They are also the sweetest and most patient cats I have ever seen.” – Elana
"Rosie has adjusted and fits right in. She is a goofy girl, and we all adore her. She makes us laugh every day with her bottle cap thievery, the way she stands on two legs to throw her mouse, or the way she flops down. We are so glad we have her. Take care of yourself and thank you for all you do for the animals and their families." -Kaitlyn and Judy
"Apollo is a joy and brings smiles to everyone's faces. He enjoys cuddles with his humans, and plays with his feline siblings - wrestling and chase are his favorite"
ATHENA & ZEUS
OCTOBER 2020 (early check in)
“Mother cat Athena and her kitten Zeus, now Cyd and Leo, have been God’s gift. I am a widow and to have two beautiful cats to care for, cuddle, and talk to has been a great comfort during COVID. They are full of life and their antics keep me laughing. Leo is nicknamed the Destroyer, but his mom Cyd is cool and regal. Lucky me.” -Bonnie
Cameron & Dakota
Dakota and Cameron are now called Laila and Tovah, and they're doing well. Tovah (Cameron) has continued to come out of her shell and is so cuddly. Laila is a bit of a troublemaker. Laila is so curious about everything, particularly the bathroom. Whenever I shower, she waits for me either on the toilet or bath mat.
"Hi - Truett is doing great! She gets along well with our cat Finn and keeps him active. She has lots of spunk and makes us laugh on a daily basis. We are so in love with her. She is the perfect addition to our family.
Thanks for checking in again." - Lori
“Cali is doing well. She continues to be a perpetual source of entertainment and we continue to be impressed at what a fast and curious learner she is.”
- Daniel & Rachael
“Maggie has settled in here and is the sweetest girl! In any event we have become quite close and she is happy and healthy!” -Sandra
MALI (NOW JINKX)
“Jinkx is doing great! We have her on a hypoallergenic diet due to sensitive skin and are following the vets’ recommendations to keep her happy and not itchy! Our vet is fantastic and we love them for many reasons, a few being that they only service cats (so we feel like it’s super specialized and trustworthy) and that they’re very thorough and caring when working with her. Jinkx has become such a sweet cuddle-bug!
She loves sitting on laps while I work from home, follows us around the house, and she adores kisses! She even leans in to nuzzle us back! I was able to catch one on video and am sending it here. She’s a smartie, too. She is able to turn on the Roomba so that she can bat at the brushes as it moves, and she is able to open our closet doors so that she can sleep in the laundry basket.”
"Leo and Gommy are a perfect match. Leo is still shy but once you are sitting down on the couch quietly, he comes up purring loudly to get all of the cuddles. He jumps up in her recliner and sits on her lap, he cuddles right next to her at night, he loves sunbathing out on the porch with her, his toys and cardboard boxes are all over the place! I think this quiet 1-person house is the best for him and he clearly has bonded to her. She has framed 8x10 photos of him up in every room and is quick to tell everyone who calls her how handsome he is. In a difficult time, they definitely bring joy to each other. Thanks for checking in!"
(NO NEW PHOTOS)
"Lacey is wonderful. The best friend I could ever hope for. She's just like me, I don't know who came first truly. I love her with every part of my existence. She's just turned three this month.
I wish only to find her, or myself if I'm honest, a companion. Heather and I tried once before and it didn't turn out well so I think I am nervous and waiting for the right time. But when it is, we'll do it through fostering and seeing which cats fit best into our home.
I am certain I will continue to foster and adopt from PAW, it has been a wonderful experience thus far. Thanks for checking in on Lacey."
Cole & Colette
“So good to hear from you! The cats are fun and a little mischief, but I could not have wished for better pets. Really affectionate and great company for each other.” – Joanna
“Polly is doing really great. She is now called “Beans. She is a very affectionate cat and is always up for pets. She has been a great addition to our family, and we look forward to many more years with her.” -Salina
“Thank you so much for reaching out. Yes ‘Speedo’s’ name Has been updated to Miro (Pronounced Meedo) just like the artist. We like the artist and the fact that Miro rhymes with Speedo so he likes it too. He is being properly spoiled with toy mice, a flower pot full of cat grass or ‘salad’. And a new drinking water fountain. Hope all is well with you,
All my best.” - Jane
“He is an amazing silly cat. He is thriving. I can't imagine our family without him.
Thank you so much.“
Love (Now 'Kylo')
ITTY BITTY & SUNSHINE
“We adore these two little beans! Itty Bitty (now Minerva) and Sunshine (now Sprout) are best friends. They have really settled in and grown comfortable with us. Minerva's true personality has come out -- no longer shy in the least! She's chatty, bossy and affectionate. Sprout is still a shy cat, but she absolutely loves belly rubs. She has this lovely little squeak instead of a true meow and strikes the most hilarious poses. Thanks so much for setting us up with them!” —Lyla and Daniel
"Thanks for checking in. (Cassidy now) Purla is doing great. She's still very playful and active but she's also starting to take longer naps and cuddle more :) Purla and (Our Cat) Zoey play quite a bit and they love us being home all the time now (silver lining)." - Elena
"Thank you for asking! Duncan is great! His new name is Winston. He is a real big handsome boy now. I got another kitty names Clem. They always play together; never feel lonely when I’m not at home. I feel touched for all you have done for the kitties!! God bless your kindness and all your family. Please stay safe during the virus breakout." - Dawei
