“Hello! She’s the perfect fit for us!!
We love her tons!”
CINNAMON SPICE & GINNY WEASLEY
”Cinnamon Spice is now known as “Stinker.” It’s a play on the name because she is the sweetest little kitty I’ve ever known, although she does have her times for being rambunctious, full of energy and climbing her cat tree and hanging from it like a little monkey. She has been a total joy. All my other animals love her too. She loves to climb up and snuggle in my lap for hours while I’m working. She has a great purr motor and uses it frequently.”
“She and my other cat, Ginny (adopted from PAW almost a year ago) are great buddies. They sleep together frequently, clean each other, and play together. When Ginny howls, Stinker goes and finds her and comforts her. Thanks so much for such a wonderful, full of love kitty!”
“Hello! He is still called Pollo, cause it was too good an origin story to change,
(ha-ha). And he has been a very good boy in our household!
He loves to alternately lounge around the house and then try to chew on my headphone cord when I'm teaching at my computer (ha-ha). He also has developed a huge fascination with pens and will play with one for a while if he gets one. And he has no trouble knocking them off my desk (ha-ha).
Hope the friends at the shelter are well too, and happy to provide updates whenever I can!”

“Happy New Year!! I just wanted to send you a quick update on Salem! He had his first check up with our vet yesterday, and he did great! Everyone who worked there thought he was so cute and sweet!! He is getting so big! He weighs 6.5 pounds and is the size of an average 7- or 8-month-old! The vet thinks he will be a very big boy when he's done growing.
"I'm including a few pictures from Salem's first snow and first Christmas. He got a pack of plastic springs and some yummy treats for Christmas! I hope you are doing well. Happy new Year!!” -Sabrina
“So, she still goes by Sprinkles and she is awesome! Sprinkles has been a fantastic addition to our family. We should've snatched up two from that litter. Although it was a slow transition for the other two cats to accept her, she is now snuggling and playing with both on a regular basis and she always wants to play with the dog, though we don't let her. The kids adore her, and she is tolerant and gentle with them always. She has been an absolute joy.” -Thanks, Matt
Ebony (Now Avery)
“Ebony has been renamed "Avery" and she's doing great! Now that we've moved out of an apartment and into a home, she has a lot more room to run around, and she seems to really love running up and down the stairs. She's quite the ball or energy. The bigger house also means we can upgrade some of the cat trees and towers to larger sizes so that she can look out of the windows. Here are a couple of recent pictures of Avery.” - Ed & La Sia
Hi Natalie! Great to hear from you. Marley (who now goes by Banksy) and Tom (who now goes by Mac) are best buddies and we are having the best time. Here are a few photos. – Emily

Thanks for checking in! Charlie and I are doing great! My sisters liked the name (as do I) and we found it very fitting, so it stuck! You may be aware that I actually live in Boston and adopted Charlie from my sister Joan who was fostering him in Maryland. We had a calm ride back up to Boston and he settled into his new home very quickly.
I was really nervous about the whole experience at first because Charlie’s my first pet, but he’s been a great addition to my life! He’s super chill and low maintenance, adorable, and even lets me sleep in some days. He’s a big hit with my roommates and everyone who meets him!
I really appreciate what you and the rest of the team at PAW do. How would I go about making a donation to your organization? Much thanks!”

“Hi Natalie, Thank you for checking in! Nirvana, now known as Samwell (aka Sammy and Sam-Sam), has truly become a part of our family and we cannot imagine life without his endless snuggles and adorable quirks. Although timid at first, he quickly made himself at home and let his wonderful personality shine. Samwell loves to snuggle - whether curled up next to us on the couch, climbing on top of us first thing in the morning, or settling into our laps when we greet him as we come home from work, he loves to be where we are and receive all the pets. Perhaps the only thing Samwell loves more than snuggles is food, and he quickly found his voice to tell us when he wants to be fed or have some delicious dental treats. He has also become quite playful and loves to wrestle with his stuffed rat and chase his favorite (cat-friendly) ribbon. In fact, every night when we get cleaned up for bed, Samwell heads to the corner of our bedroom (picture attached) to patiently wait for ribbon playtime, his favorite tradition. Samwell is an absolute sweetheart, and we are so grateful to have him in our lives! Thank you for allowing us to adopt him and for all the great work that you do.” Best wishes, Sarah and Connor

1 WEEK CHECK IN
Hi! We love Neptune and Cosmo and are happy with them. They are keeping their names, as those are names we would have chosen ourselves. They are slowly coming around. Thank you so much! We are very excited about our new family additions. -Emily
Thanks for checking in. All four of us are very happy with our new cats. Both Cosmo and Neptune have settled in and seem to be very comfortable in their new home. Cosmo with come find me when he wants a belly rub, which is at least once a day! Neptune comes to find me when he wants more food but is always happy to be pet and loved-on when he’s up and about. They both also enjoy sitting with my husband and I on the couch in the evenings if we are watching tv and then wrestle each other on the floor after they’ve gotten some attention. Here is a recent picture of them. They really like our open staircase! Thanks again for helping us connect together!

(Ainslie ADOPTED FIRST, EARLY JULY) (Hattie & Peanut ADOPTED TOGETHER, LATE JULY)
“The kitties are so good! We renamed Peanut Bandit because he is such a troublemaker, always stealing food! Hattie is the Queen of the house. (Ainslie) now Cookie, is fine with them now. Honestly, Hattie runs the household with her little squeaky meow. Cookie falls in line! I love those kitties so much, they are a blessing in my life.” -Suzanne
“Alex's personality is social, but mild mannered, and not the type to scratch or bite.
She is a bit shy with visitors, which I guess is to be expected. Thanks for following up! Feel free to check-in in the future.” -Kevin

JUNIPER & JERRY
“The boys are doing great! Their new names are Loki and Buri which is appropriate since they appear to be part Norwegian forest cat. They love to cuddle, climb, and play together. Loki is especially naughty and enjoys photo bombing virtual meetings and pulling the plug out of the sink. They get along great with our dog and older cat and have grown tremendously. Both weigh over 8 lbs. now. I expect they will be big boys when they are done growing. We love having them live with us and they bring the family a lot of joy!” Tracey
“Natalie, Sunny is now, Skeeter III is doing great and shows his appreciation every day upon waking. He comes into whatever room we are in and “squeaks” his good morning meow at us and gives us a sound head butt to make sure we heard him. He is a member of the family or rather, I should say, we are part of his staff.” – Jack & Libby

TINKER (NOW ANGEL)
“Hi Natalie, all is well here and hope you are doing well with all that is going on. Angel is adjusting very well. She is really getting along with Scoot. 2 days ago I saw her give Scoot a bath on top of his head then attacked his neck. They do play often and sometimes it’s a little rough. Other than that, they get along great! She is always rubbing against him and me as well. She loves to play and her toys are all over the place. She still eats like a horse. I should have called her "miss piggy” Take care” - Mary Anne
“Eddie is a character who keeps me sane. He is a hilarious, demanding cat and I adore him! Eddie has made himself at home. Everyone should rescue an Eddie!”
Campbell & Cara
“Wow 3 months already! - Cara and Campbell are growing like wildfire! We are so glad they came into our family at just the right time. They have been a source of constant amusement and got us through our enforced time at home. They are working on our old cat, Nova, to try and get her to play. She's not there yet but is becoming more social with the kittens. They are persistent with her and will win her over. Campbell is the most laid-back cat I have ever known. He just lies around taking everything in. Cara is a spitfire - always trying to stir up trouble or running laps around the house. Thank you for our babies!” – Mandy
“Hi, It is amazing that Zeus has been with us for 3 months, it feels like it's been a lot longer. He is a character, and he has made the pandemic/staying at home so much less stressful. He is a welcome member of the family and we love him dearly. Here are some photos! Thanks for checking in!” -Victoria

“Yes Jerry (also known as Jer-Jer) is doing great. He's of course exclusively indoors and is neutered. I've never had or known a cat that is such a "people person." He's definitely part of our family now. Attached find a few pics. Thanks for all you do to bring such a great cat into our life.”

Their foster mother Heather Nawrocki and I do keep in touch. She has been great! Please stay safe and stay healthy!” -Laurie
